Manoj brings a wealth of curiosity, compassion and commitment to our team.  As Director of Business Operations & Compliance, his responsibilities include creating, testing and maintaining compliance policies, managing corporate operations, safeguarding our clients’ data, and managing our information technology systems.

Manoj was born and raised in Kolkata, India, and he has a bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a concentration in Marketing. He joined the MarsJewett team in April 2018 and obtained his IACCP® certification in 2021 (Investment Advisor Certified Compliance Professional). He loves researching and investing in new and upcoming technology, and he takes an active role in assisting the financial advisory team on compliance issues and training staff on new policies and tools. He has a personal passion in change management, and he is instrumental in helping our organization identify opportunities to grow and navigate change with confidence.

Manoj met his wife Rachel when working at a human rights nonprofit in India, and they married in 2017. After moving three times in as many years, they are happy to be settled in Seattle, enjoying long walks and new adventures with their kids, Rami and Shaya. Manoj is a lover of food and music, and occasionally plays percussion with a couple local bands. He and Rachel volunteer their time and skills to support non-profit organizations that give a voice to underserved populations.
