Glenn is passionate about life and spirited about serving others to help them reach a higher prize. As a former seminary student, family man, husband, father, father-in law and grandfather of two, he knows that there is much more to life than money. He brings over three decades of experience​, and as President Emeritus of MarsJewett, he works tirelessly to maintain a culture of caring, excellence and service.

Glenn graduated from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania and went on to attend a seminary in Washington, DC. There, he met his wife Dianna, ultimately deciding to follow her out to Seattle, where they married and began their family. Glenn began his career in civil engineering, but felt a calling to “build lives, not bridges.” He began serving clients in the insurance industry, but disliked the pressure he felt to sell specific products rather than offer more personalized service. In 1981, he got his CFP^® designation and found his true calling helping families navigate their finances and achieve their dreams.

In 1983, Glenn co-founded Capital Planning Partners. He found that—perhaps due to his engineering background—his biggest growth came from teaching seminars at the Boeing Management Association. At one such seminar in 1994, he met Scott Jewett, a Boeing employee who was nurturing a passion for financial planning. Glenn hired Scott less than a year later, and in 2001, they left Capital Planning Partners to found MarsJewett.

Glenn is unwavering in his commitment to serving others. He is passionate about educating clients and colleagues and creating a culture of true teamwork at MarsJewett. Outside the office, Glenn is a proud husband, father and grandfather, a perennial optimist, and a total sports nut. He is active in his church and local community, where his work reflects his deep commitment to family welfare and education.

Scott infuses everything in his life with care, dedication and a commitment to helping others. As a financial advisor, he serves his clients with wisdom, integrity and kindness, and he has a knack for making complex things simple. He is proud to lead a team of wonderful people and to have helped shape MarsJewett’s culture of service.

A Bellevue native, Scott graduated with honors from Pacific Christian College with dual degrees in Business Administration and Biblical Studies. After college, he spent the first seven years of his career at Boeing. During that time, he and his wife began helping members of their church who were struggling to manage their finances or facing financial crisis, and this helped spark his passion to become a financial advisor. In 1994, he attended a seminar Glenn (Mars) was teaching for the Boeing Management Association, and a year later, Glenn hired him. The rest, as they say, is history.

Scott feels that he truly found his calling as a financial advisor, as it combines his passion for helping people with his love of untangling the technical complexities of finance and investing. He actually gets excited when Congress changes the tax and finance laws, because it means he gets to dig into the research and figure out new planning strategies that will benefit our clients!

Scott is a devoted husband and father of three. Sports are a lifelong passion for him and his wife Kim, and when they’re not watching their own kids play, you’ll likely find them rooting for the Mariners, Seahawks or Huskies—he even proposed to Kim on the 50-yard line of Husky Stadium. Now that his kids are (mostly) out of the house, he has more time to work on his golf game… and he’s quick to say that it needs some work.

Scott is also very active in his community and his church, where he has served for over 25 years in financial ministry. He previously served on the boards of two non-profit organizations, and currently serves on the trust and investment committee at the school his kids graduated from.

Brian always greets clients with a smile. His passion for financial planning is evident through his energetic service and creative solutions to help families pursue their goals. In addition to his role as an advisor, he also monitors the firm’s investment allocations and has been instrumental in introducing new tools and processes that enable us to deliver even more excellent client service.

Brian loves solving financial puzzles and finding creative ways to help families pursue their goals. He is passionate about financial planning and client education, and he has a gift for communicating complex ideas in a clear and informative way. As a financial advisor, his professional mission is to empower families: helping them gain financial clarity, freeing them from stress so they can pursue a meaningful life and legacy.

Brian graduated with honors from the University of Washington in 2006. Having grown up in and around MarsJewett, he was extremely proud to officially join the firm that same year. He worked in a number of different roles, getting to understand all facets of the business and our clients. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2009 and joined the firm as a partner in 2013.

Brian wholeheartedly strives to exercise each aspect of his life: work, mental, physical, family and faith. Brian and his wife, Claire, are joyful parents to Preston and Brielle and are thrilled to share in their adventures. He is a die-hard skier, a voracious reader, and an avid cyclist. In 2004, rode his bike across the country to raise money and awareness for people with disabilities on Push America’s Journey of Hope. Brian is the former treasurer of World View Matters and he and Claire are very active at Timberlake Church, where they volunteer their time in the children’s program.

Elizabeth has been part of the MarsJewett family since 2001. She is dedicated to serving clients with heart, throughout the different seasons of life.

As a financial advisor, she works with new and existing clients to create and implement personalized financial plans and offers supportive guidance to help them stay on track toward their goals. She is passionate about helping clients simplify complex financial concepts and gain confidence in their financial futures.

Throughout her tenure here, Elizabeth has been instrumental in building MarsJewett’s culture of service and caring. Her gentle spirit and patient demeanor have helped our team grow as a whole and helped individual employees nurture their unique strengths and abilities.

Elizabeth is an avid cyclist and runner, with several marathons under her belt. She and her husband share a deep love of the outdoors, and they can often be found exploring the beautiful hiking trails of the Pacific Northwest.

With a bright smile, Lucas is enthusiastic about serving others. He has been in the financial planning industry for over 7 years after graduating from Seattle Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Most recently Lucas worked as a Financial Advisor at a firm in Seattle. Specifically, he loves understanding a client’s unique family situation and goals and then helping build financial plans that simplify their lives.

While at SPU, Lucas dated Mary whom he had known from church when they were toddlers. They married in 2017 and have two joyful daughters named Ashtyn and Brooks. We already love this family, as Mary is MarsJewett’s Marketing Manager and has worked with us since 2016.

As newlyweds, they checked off their European bucket list and explored Ireland, England, France and Italy. As a family they enjoy exploring new neighborhood parks and finding new family friendly breweries. Lucas  loves to stay active and enjoys dirt biking, mountain biking, and playing soccer.

JJ joined the MarsJewett team in March 2020, and we welcome his expertise, curiosity and team spirit. JJ has a B.S. in Business Administration with a specialization in personal financial planning.

He assists our senior advisors in managing accounts, developing financial plans, and providing 401k analysis to our clients. He is passionate about client service and takes great pride in doing work that helps clients free themselves of financial stress so they can pursue their goals and dreams.

JJ is a soccer player, skier, hiker and a passionate outdoorsman who is always finding new ways to explore the mountains. He has volunteered hundreds of hours with Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission and The Salvation Army.

Andy is driven to teach others about making the most of their personal circumstances and he is enthusiastic about joining the MarsJewett family as Director of Financial Education and Financial Planning Associate.  He will oversee our educational communications and seminars and will begin joining in client review meetings. He was first drawn to MarsJewett because the firm puts clients’ interests and well-being before anything else. Andy gains satisfaction by helping others thrive in life’s crossroads by providing insightful perspective in order to live with greater purpose. He strongly believes that with discipline, people in a wide array of professions can achieve extraordinary financial success.

Most recently he served as Senior Director for Enrollment Management at Northwest University in Kirkland.  Notably, throughout the many years he worked with college students, Andy instructed many students and colleagues about saving and investing, helping them to get an early, successful start. Andy is passionate about financial education.  He began practicing principles of investing early in his career and came to understand that with discipline and wisdom, people from a wide variety of circumstances could do well financially.

Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Andy met his wife, Kelli, while attending Whitworth University where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree.  Later he earned a Master of Arts in Higher Education from Geneva College in PA.  Kelli and Andy have a son, Tyler, and daughter, Karis, and enjoy an active lifestyle of hiking, biking, skiing, and other outdoor recreation. They are also active members of their church community.

Brock strives for excellence and integrity in everything he does. Brock’s background is well-suited to MarsJewett’s purpose in helping people to plan and protect their financial future. Upon receiving full-ride basketball scholarships for both his undergraduate and graduate degrees, he earned a business degree from Point Loma Nazarene University followed by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in Finance from Idaho State University. He was an intern with Cetera Advisor Networks and MarsJewett Financial Group. In 2023, he moved abroad with his wife to play professional basketball in Germany before returning home to join MarsJewett Financial Group. Brock has successfully passed the both his CFP® and Series 65 exams. 

Brock has a passion for understanding people’s aspirations and values.  Because of his goal-driven nature, he gains satisfaction in helping others brainstorm, create, and accomplish their own goals, too. With his background in finance, he enjoys helping people understand financial markets and imparting peace of mind, knowing they are cared for by a great team. 

With varied interests, Brock enjoys many endeavors. As a person of faith, his relationship with God is of utmost importance, and he gains motivation from Colossians 3:17. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Bailey, and adorable son, Beckham. Having traveled to sixteen different countries, he aspires ever more adventure, hoping to see Spain and Portugal next. 

Manoj brings a wealth of curiosity, compassion and commitment to our team.  As Director of Business Operations & Compliance, his responsibilities include creating, testing and maintaining compliance policies, managing corporate operations, safeguarding our clients’ data, and managing our information technology systems.

Manoj was born and raised in Kolkata, India, and he has a bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a concentration in Marketing. He joined the MarsJewett team in April 2018 and obtained his IACCP® certification in 2021 (Investment Advisor Certified Compliance Professional). He loves researching and investing in new and upcoming technology, and he takes an active role in assisting the financial advisory team on compliance issues and training staff on new policies and tools. He has a personal passion in change management, and he is instrumental in helping our organization identify opportunities to grow and navigate change with confidence.

Manoj met his wife Rachel when working at a human rights nonprofit in India, and they married in 2017. After moving three times in as many years, they are happy to be settled in Seattle, enjoying long walks and new adventures with their kids, Rami and Shaya. Manoj is a lover of food and music, and occasionally plays percussion with a couple local bands. He and Rachel volunteer their time and skills to support non-profit organizations that give a voice to underserved populations.

Mary is an endless source of creativity and positivity. She has a dual Business and Marketing degree from Seattle Pacific University, and as Marketing and Events Manager, she maintains our website, sends client communications, and plans our client events. Her favorite event is our semi-annual Spring Training event.

Mary’s favorite part of her job is interacting with clients and getting to learn snippets about their lives and passions. She takes great pride in making sure every process and interaction they have with MarsJewett is as seamless and efficient as possible.

Mary and her husband Lucas love to golf, explore local wineries, and spend time with their daughters, Ashtyn and Brooks. She is an avid crafter with a passion for calligraphy and digital lettering. When she isn’t working or with her family, she coaches girls basketball. 

Carol’s warm smile is often the first thing our clients see when entering the office. As a Senior Client Service Associate, she juggles a number of responsibilities, including assisting advisors with client documents, meeting preps, opening accounts, audits and reporting. She’s also a notary! She also oversees scheduling, plans all of our team events and coordinates community volunteer efforts.

Carol loves getting a chance to connect with clients in face-to-face meetings, learn about their lives and discover all the “small world” connections that bring us closer together.

Outside of work, she stays busy hiking, biking, gardening, and spending time with her five kids and her two grandsons, Weston and Baker. She is active in her church and community as a singer, a volunteer and a girl’s basketball coach.

Mitch joined MarsJewett in 2017 after interning here the summer before. As Operations Manager, Mitch leads the client service team while also creating and maintaining procedures that improve our accuracy and efficiency to help us deliver excellent service. He works tirelessly to oversee all money movement, builds staff training programs and assists executives in planning and implementing the strategic direction of the organization. 

He is passionate about improving the MarsJewett experience for both our clients and staff, and he takes great pride in helping individuals and teams reach their full potential.   

Mitch was born and raised in Pasco, Washington and is an honors graduate of Northwest University with a dual B.A. in Business Administration & Accounting with a minor in Finance. He’s passionate about learning and building community, whether by volunteering as a teacher and mentor to high school students at his church, or hosting friends—new and old—for dinner.

Stacie demonstrates integrity, team spirit, and heart of service in all aspects of her life. As a Client Service Associate, she plays an integral role on our team and assists our advisors with meetings preparation and follows up with clients after their annual meetings. In the fall of 2024, she earned her Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ designation.

For her it’s not just a job, she values the relationships built with each client.

Outside of work, Stacie loves spending time with her family first and foremost.  She also can be found volunteering as a Chaplain with her local fire district and serving with her husband in his role as a Director, with their church, that provides support, food, financial classes and literacy programs for kids and their families in need.

While she is a relatively new employee, Kim has been a member of the MarsJewett family since the beginning. She enjoys long standing relationships with many of our clients, and, as Scheduling Coordinator, she gets to connect with them on a regular basis.

Kim has a BA in Business from the University of Washington, and she and Scott are BIG time Husky fans (they even got engaged on the 50-yard line!). She brings a wealth of experience, having worked for years in the finance department at Nintendo of America, and her warm and caring demeanor are equally appreciated.

Family, faith and sports are all central to Kim’s life. You can often find her and Scott rooting for the Huskies, Mariners, Seahawks, and their two college athlete children. She volunteers her time at Vision House, which provides transitional housing and services for families experiencing homelessness. She and Scott also serve as deacons at their church and provide financial counseling for members and attendees. Now that their kids are grown, they are looking forward to more opportunities for travel!

Kathy joined the MarsJewett family Spring of 2025, and we welcome her passion for building lasting relationships and providing exceptional support. Kathy’s motto is “to provide the same type of service and support, to both my coworkers and clients, that I would provide to my own friends and family”. In her role as a Client Service Associate, she wears a lot of hats, including assisting advisors with client documents, meeting preps, and onboarding new clients. 

Kathy hails from Elk Grove, California where she studied Business Administration at Biola University. Throughout Kathy’s career, she’s gravitated towards client-facing roles. In the short time working alongside Kathy, we’ve enjoyed her team-player mindset and personability.

Faith and family are central to Kathy’s life. When she’s not at work, you’ll find her volunteering at church, baking, or spending time with her friends and family. For over 20 years, she’s served with Children of the Nations, a faith-based organization whose vision is “Raising Children who Transform Nations.” She’s seen first-hand how providing life’s most basic necessities, along with good education, is transformational.
